When you buy tickets on our website, you pay through a secure payment gateway of our acquiring bank.
Your card details are transmitted in encrypted form and are not stored on Air Samarkand servers — they are processed only by the bank and payment systems.

We accept the following cards: Uzcard, Humo, Visa, Mastercard, MIR.
You can choose your payment method at the checkout stage when paying for your booking.

3D Secure: extra protection for every transaction

All card transactions on airsamarkand.com use 3D Secure technology (including the current 3-D Secure 2.0 versions) used by banks in Uzbekistan and international payment systems.

Depending on the card system, this may include:

  • Visa — Visa Secure (formerly Verified by Visa);

  • Mastercard — Mastercard Identity Check / SecureCode;

  • Uzcard and Humo — equivalent 3D Secure services using one-time passwords and additional checks for online payments.

After you enter your card details, you will be redirected to a page (or pop-up window) of your bank to confirm the transaction. Depending on your bank’s settings, this may be:

  • a one-time code from an SMS or push notification;

  • confirmation in your bank’s mobile app;

  • biometrics (Face ID, fingerprint) or another secure authentication method.

This mechanism significantly reduces the risk of fraud when paying for purchases online.

How we manage fraud risks

Together with the bank, we use a set of measures to protect online payments:

  • mandatory use of 3D Secure technology for online card payments;

  • daily and monthly limits on the amount and number of transactions;

  • automatic detection and blocking of suspicious transactions on the bank’s side;

  • additional checks for high-risk transactions based on geolocation, behavioural and other risk factors;

  • real-time monitoring of transactions by the bank’s security service;

  • the ability for cardholders to set and change their own limits and restrictions in their bank’s mobile or internet banking.

Our payment partners use secure data transfer protocols (HTTPS/TLS) and the international payment card security standard PCI DSS, so all card data is processed only on secure servers of banks and payment systems.

For questions about your current limits and additional security settings, we recommend contacting the bank that issued your card.

How you can further protect your payments

To make your online payments even safer:

  • Never share codes from SMS or push notifications, or your CVV/CVC code — even if someone calls you claiming to be “from the bank”.

  • Enable SMS or push notifications for all card transactions and two-factor authentication where possible.

  • Regularly check your transaction history and contact your bank immediately if you notice anything suspicious.

  • Set personal limits for online payments in your bank’s mobile app.

  • Pay for tickets only on the official website airsamarkand.com, and always check for the padlock icon and https:// in the address bar.

Avoid fraud

Air Samarkand and its employees never accept payments:

  • via Telegram, WhatsApp, Imo or other messengers;

  • via private messages on social networks;

  • by transfers to personal bank cards of individuals;

  • via suspicious links that do not lead to our website or to the bank’s payment page;

  • in cash at the airport (except at the official ticket office).

If someone offers you a “special price” or “quick payment without the website” and asks you to transfer money to a card, send a photo of your card, your CVV/CVC code, or SMS/push codes in chat — this is fraud.
Please do not pay and contact Air Samarkand customer support or the bank that issued your card.

If you purchase airline tickets at a travel agency, you must be given printed documents:
an itinerary receipt (e-ticket), a carriage agreement/contract, and a receipt with a QR code.
